The boom had a slight bend to it that had to be straightened......
It's amazing how far you have to bend it beyond straight to make it straight!
Jerry working on the wiring......
All new terminal blocks, connections, circuit breakers, and circuit breaker switches.
The cap rail had three places that needed to be replaced.
There were two panes of glass on the windscreen that had been broken and the aluminum frame was twisted. We straightened the frame and replaced the pieces with acrylic. Here's a before and after...
My sister from Maine stopped by with her family for lunch....
And thanks to Jerry's brother Dan who has helped out with so many of the projects. Here Jerry and Dan go for a ride to check out the engine.
Here's a shot of the top of one of the fuel tanks before...
And after.....
Our friend Patti stopped by on her way from FL to Washington and on to Mexico to buy her own "new" boat. Here we are working on cleaning the fuel tank. And the list goes on of all of our accomplishments....I just don't have the camera on hand for everything or we're too tired and dirty to stop and take pictures. Next week - making new foam cushions for the salon.
One last bit, a little fun with our summer rental cat Kurd. He belongs to Bill and Laurie next door but when we're here (he loves people) he chooses to adopt us and hangs out on the boat while everyone is off to work. He's an old cat so I have many opportunities to take a picture of him asleep.
